On Saturday, September 19th, We came together in love and service along with Women of Unity Chapter of Winston and some wonderful friends and supporters, in Charlotte, North Carolina, for this annual community service event. Together, we prepared 100 care bags for women, each containing a complete, comfortable outfit—including new T-shirts, leggings, underwear, bras, and socks in sizes Medium through 2XL. Each bag was clearly labeled by size and placed in a brand-new tote for distribution to residents of Crisis Ministry. We also provided toiletry pouches filled with essential personal-care items, including deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, sanitary pads, and tampons, along with children’s toothbrushes and toothpaste. To complete the day, we prepared and served 100 hot dog dinners, including drinks, chips, and homemade cake. This was truly a rewarding and meaningful experience, and we are equally grateful to every friend, volunteer and supporter, who took the time to come out and help make this event such a tremendous success. It was truly a blessing!
